Green councillors in North Watford are active in the local community.
Currently we are organising three Neighbourhood Forums for North Watford, where councillors and local residents can debate funding small local projects, as well as discussing other issues of concern.
County Councillor Ian Brandon is currently working with local residents on improvements to Callowland Rec.
Steve Rackett recently attended the council's scrutiny committee discussing climate change, and proposed that the council works closer with local businesses to reduce Watford's carbon footprint.
He is also a member of the council's Market Working Group, and was concerned at the way the council's finances have been organised, to suggest the market could be making a larger loss than it is.
